Re-arranging sections after the financial summary to make it easier to see what the project total is (after accepted change orders) as well as the remaining balance on the project (after any payment request) plus improvement to the profit analysis to include change order. Here are some designs:

Kirk Chisholm think we need the ability to not send the accepted alert on internal c/os. My sales guys keep getting their hopes up when I make 10 internal change orders. This is often miniscule stuff, like change of color on speakers, or lighting controls, or frames for tvs (sometimes the sales guy doesnt know up front) and the price doesnt change or change projector lens, which has happened a few times after engineering.

Kirk Chisholm I think we are also going to need some type of full proposal summary. I.e. I have a builder wanting to see all the changes, but I have no way of sending him a unified document of the original proposal with all the changes.

Frank FerreiraIt appears automatically when there are accepted (client facing) change orders for the proposal. Internal change orders don't show. Check again with that criteria and you should see it, if not let us know.

Kirk Chisholm Ah yes these are all internals. Projector lens change, projector screen updates, colors on cameras, stuff like that. There's no way to like see all of those?

Frank FerreiraAh, there you go. Unfortunately no, the consolidated view was designed for customers to see the total of everything they paid for. I guess what you're really asking for is an internal way to see all changes to the proposal, including internal. We can think about that. I see that more as project functionality, which we are going to look at later this year.

Kirk Chisholm Yea, basically just need to give the builder a status report. I've exported the proposal and all change orders to CSV then imported them all into a spreadsheet for the time being, but took me like 20 minutes to do and format.

Love change orders so far but it would be nice for the original price/profit to reflect the changes. For example, once job is complete. I like to add or subtract the labor we actually used. This is an internal change order but I'd like to see the overall profit on that job. This would help us do cost analysis of each job. Or some sort of audit mode where we can change items and see the profit change but doesn't change original proposal. Showing a negative number would be nice too.

Kirk Chisholm: Kirk, could we have the line item permanently highlighted. I.e. Not only does the TAG get put on the item "Replaced on Change Order X", but when you hover over an item it gets a gray tint, to know where your cursor is, I think this color should permanently highlight the change ordered products. Not gray of course, but any other pastel light color that is very much transparent. So just it sticks out more than it currently does.
