Feature Requests

Allow us to receive a single item, or a single vendor as parts are delivered. Currently we can only receive the entire purchase order or nothing at all. Suppliers ship at different times so partial receive is a must.

Be able to edit the installer version to just include parts to shorten it up.

I would really like to be able to copy a contact from Portal to Outlook. It would save me so much time.

Not sure if anyone else has requested this or not, but I’ve recently had some issues with multiple clients not noticing the option button, and it’s a really critical part of most of my proposals. Can we possibly have that much larger / bold or have the option to make it a different color that stands out more?? We make the descriptions very large font usually so our clients are more likely to read it. Therefore the option button ends up looking relatively small. Any help would be appreciated. See how the options button gets somewhat lost in the large bold text of the room name and the description? I think a lot of people would appreciate being able to make it larger and or bold and or like… red… lol

Have it show the discount off MSRP like it does on catalog items. Example is that we offer a promo for a free 4 Camera Prewire and want to show the regular price and highlight the discount.

I would like to be able to run sales reports and be able to sort the data. This would allow me to see most profitable jobs, best customer, best sales month, best salesperson, and also the alternative, least profitable job, customer, etc.

Our iOS app has fallen way out of feature-sync with our web app. This is the downside of producing so many new web features over the past couple of years. Our solution has been to completely update the structure of the native iOS app so that it loads our mobile web pages. It’s now a hybrid app, which means that every week, when we update the web app, those features will show up in the iOS app at the same time. A much more efficient way for us to maintain feature parity.

We could create a sort of invoice for point of sale while out in the field or in the showroom. No need for a whole proposal. The Simple Layout is great but seems like a workaround rather than an actual invoice for just a service call or piece of equipment. Would love to be able to take payment right there from the invoice as well without having to send a separate payment request.

Showing just the parent item and the total for the package but not showing all of the nested items that go with it. The customer doesn't want to see all of the pieces that go into a single gang data and coax wall plate. I could just create a custom item with one price and a better picture of a completed wall plate but then it wouldn't order the parts needed or create the pick list.
