This can be achieved by using the 'combine prices' checkbox option in nested items. After you drag a labor item into a nest (as an attachment to the main item). The prices of all the attachments, labor and accessories can be combined with the price of the main item, but still broken out in the financial summary.
Also, to improve upon this, we have decided to start working on managed attachments to any catalog item. This will allow you to attach labor and accessories to any item in the catalog, and they will automatically be added for you.

Kirk Chisholm: I was the original requestor of the combined price feature, Kirk. I recently asked for some refinement but not to break out the labor in the total. That must have been quite a while ago. Thanks for the update. The other stuff looks really cool. Attaching stuff is sweet. What would also be nice is attaching specialized markups. I like to take a higher markup for speakers, for example, than for electronic equipment. The exception being subwoofers as they are priced more like gear than speakers. But you get the idea. Sometimes we price different items differently.

I assume this is the same request as "hide associated line items" to create packages with a single price
