MSRP discount highlight on labor and custom items

Have it show the discount off MSRP like it does on catalog items. Example is that we offer a promo for a free 4 Camera Prewire and want to show the regular price and highlight the discount.

Yes please.

When we make custom parts or packages we need to show MSRP and the discount given. Plus, if we have discounts totaled in financial summary it doesn't include the price we are taking off the custom parts so the customer thinks we didn't give them a big enough discount even though we have notated that in the client notes of the custom part. It's confusing for the customer.

Yes - this would be very helpful. We do a ton of custom projects and I'd like clients to understand the pricing they are given.

I agree! This is the feature that we need. We can add additional discounts in the payment section but I would love to be able to assign the discounts to the actual item that they came from.

YES!! 
This is such a basic feature that we need!!
For example, I want to be able to run a complimentary service call occasionally for my good customers and send them a portal invoice that shows the service call labor line item zeroed out as a courtesy. 
I cannot believe there is no way to show discounts on labor!

Nick Nardone One way we have overcome the labor discount is to add a "Labor Discount" area and then add the labor charge as a negative amount. But I agree, I would love to see an embedded labor discount feature.
