Price Modifiers for Entire Proposal
planned
CounterStrike Security and Sound
The ability to bump up the price of all items (or just parts or labor) by a certain %. This is useful for a couple cases...
-Marking up a proposal to absorb builder referral fees, and spreading it across all items evenly, rather than creating a single line item the client can see.
-Adjusting the labor up or down based on difficulty of the job.

Bump for this feature!

We've started to design this feature!
We're looking for a few more people to hop on a Zoom call to help us understand exactly what you'd like to see solved with price modifiers.
If you are interested, email shaina@portal.io.

Any update on adding this feature? This would be a huge time saver.

While your at it, add an option to price modify entire proposal to current MSRP!

Kind of BS that QB has this but something I'm paying additional for doesn't. I have builders who want us to add 15% to the products. Then to be told to go back and spend even more of my time MANUALLY adding the 15%. This tool was to make my life of writing proposals easier..

Kirk Chisholm any update on this? Been planned for over a year...the lack of this feature alone has become such a pain point for our sales guys. Continuous cycle of having to spend way too many unneccesary hours manually distributing this percentage across 20+ line items and reconfiguring all line items repeatedly each time the client scope of work is refined, adjusted or equipment changes. Truly don't think our team can continue to stay on portal if this one isn't deployed soon. The amount of extra hours per builder proposal its costing us to manual input and the overall delays in quote turnaround have become our sales team #1 complaint.
And to be honest, the idea behind this feature request program is great and looks super benefical on first glance, but as you dive deeper and see the amount of time between under review, planned, and executed is 2-3 years on some of these. That kind of timeline with little to no transparency/updates from the Portal team besides 2 auto generate status updates, somewhat defeats the entire purpose of this feature request system in my opinion.

Brandon - DAVG: Shaina on our product team is going to contact you. She'll setup a Zoom call for you to show us exactly how this issue manifests in your business. We're speaking to several other dealers to get this one right.
