Jason Garlington Jason you sound like us! This has been planned since 2021! I've given them different ideas or different ways for proposals yet it doesn't happen. They want to grow with new options but won't add an implement part to Proposals which is what made Portal! D-Clouds tools has templates. Maybe one day! Been an idea and in the works since 2021 and been planned since 2023. It's now 2026.

Robert Boenisch It's been pushed as we prioritized other more important features. You can technically build templates now using proposals and cloning so it's not as 'critical'. It's planned for Q2 though.

Thanks for the response. We have been very satisfied with the upgrades that have been rolling out and I understand the priorities.
We currently use existing proposals as templates. When you do get to templates, I would appreciate a way to select A/B/C products from the template. Example: I have a proposal that includes the three products that we use. 2 channel amp, 4 channel amp, 8 channel amp. It would be great to check the box next to the product I want to copy to the proposal. Right now I copy everything and have to go through it and delete everything I don’t want.

Robert Boenisch You can select the individual items you want on the proposal you are using as a template now, and then just use the 'Copy Items to Proposal' button in the blue top menu to send those items to the destination proposal. Does that not work for you?

This has been in the works for years and "planned" since 2023. This is super important and needs to be prioritized. Especially with the option to limit the sales people from seeing only their own proposals, which is a good thing, it would be nice to have them be able to have their own templates vs copying other sales people's proposals as templates. I've been told this has been in the works for years. Probably since 2021 when this originally was requested. D-Tools Cloud Proposal software has this template feature and again I feel this needs to be prioritized. Nicholas @ Coastal Protection

the feature request for me would be to have default areas and products populate on new proposal creation. You know, stuff that goes on every proposal anyway without cloning or copying.. Ie. labor and warranty (onevision, parasol, etc).. similar to cover page and terms
