As I dive deeper into Portal and Zoho I believe an easy option is to be able to Push Payment Request Invoices from Portal to Zoho Books to create RETAINER invoices and have them marked as Paid. This would then allow them to be applied to an invoice when generated.

This would not be necessary if a Proposal Created proper Invoices instead of Payment Request Invoices.
